Leticia - City in the Amazon Rain Forest

Leticia is a little city that becomes the southern border between Colombia, Brasil and Peru. Leticia and Tabatinga are really just one city divided in two sides, the Colombian and the Brasilian. You can cross it by walking. People are friendly and there are several places to have fun starting with the Amazon jungle.

A lot of the population in Leticia is indigenous of diverse Indian communities some of them are: nukaks, still nomadic, and the huitotos, yaguas, tucanos, ticunas, camsás and ingas.

Missionaries and conquistadores who were attracted by the wealth of the region founded some few cities by the Amazon river that today are the departure points to enjoy all the beauty that the region offers to the Leticia visitors.
