Leticia - City in the Amazon Rain

Leticia is a little city that
becomes the southern border between Colombia, Brasil and Peru.
Leticia and Tabatinga are really just one city divided in two
sides, the Colombian and the Brasilian. You can cross it by
walking. People are friendly and there are several places to
have fun starting with the Amazon jungle.
A lot of the population in Leticia
is indigenous of diverse Indian communities some of them are:
nukaks, still nomadic, and the huitotos, yaguas, tucanos, ticunas,
camsás and ingas.
Missionaries and conquistadores
who were attracted by the wealth of the region founded some
few cities by the Amazon river that today are the departure
points to enjoy all the beauty that the region offers to the
Leticia visitors.
