This bull-fighting arena, also located at Bogota’s downtown has been declared a national monument by the Colombian government. The impressive construction was built in mudéjar style (Spanish-Moorish). The plaza is mainly used during the annual bull -fighting season a very popular pastime among the citizens of Bogota. It is also used as a venue for other important events, such as concerts. A museum was built by the main entrance which it's also part of the arena. This museum exhibits objects related to the art of bull-fighting
